The Department is well equipped with state of the art laboratories and equipments to cater the needs of both students and as well as staff.
The Department has a separate department Library cum reading room which houses good volumes of text books, reference books, journals, articles, student reports etc for the benefit of both students as well as staff.

COURSE OUTCOMES:

At the end of the course, the students will be able to

Explain the working of PLC field devices and transmitters
Develop and interface basic logic gates, arithmetic operations and subroutines programs using PLC
Develop and interface PLC programming for Traffic Light Control ,Filling/Draining Control Operation, Reversal of DC Motor Direction and ON/OFF Controller for Thermal Process.
4.Develop and interface PLC programming for level and flow process.
5.Demonstrate On-line Monitoring and Control of a Pilot plant using DCS
